IE Error - Page Cannot Display

Can anyone help me? I had an ISP for a few weeks but it was so slow, DIAL-UP ONLY THING AVAIL IN MY AREA, so I deleted it. Since then, I cannot access the web through my IE -- I get PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED. I've gone through everything on the checklists to figure it out but can't. I can, however, access the web through AOL without issues. Any suggestions? Did I delete something when I took out People PC? Please assist.
 
I have the same problem, but I never deleted anything. I downloaded ie 6 and it worked fine, but a while later it just stopped working. aol works fine, but internet explorer cannot display page. if u have a solution, please tell me. thanks.
