Recently I have had IE error out and close about half of
the sites I visit (MS bing one of them). I read the
error report and it seems that several dll's are the
culprit, namely mshtml.dll and NT4.dll (I think that was
it), how can I repair or fix my IE 6?

Thanks,
Kim

As an addendum to this post, I have searchged all
eavening for a fix and what I can up with was MS
KNowledge Base article 824150 - Internet Explorer May
Quit Unexpectedly with an Error in Mshtml.dll When You
Click a Button on a Web Page- the Appname, version, mod
name etc is identical to mine although the offset differs.

I am trying to log into certain sites and it seems to
close on some sites and not others, for instance when I
try to log into my work email (exchange server) from
home, I bomb right after I type in my password.

According to MS, ther eis a fix, but you have to contact
them, it is a known issue and will apparently be int eh
next service pack. Does anyone know when this will be?

I really do not want to rebuild this system again as it
is a multimonitor system (4) and takes qn inordinate
amount of time to do this. Please help!

If that is true your IE is sorely in need of updating.
The article refers to a very buggy version of mshtml.dll
which has been fixed for a long time.
Visit Windows Update and get the latest cumulative update.

Good luck
