Okay...here's the deal...I have 4 accounts including myself and 3 others. My problem is that on my account and on my brother's account we can get on Internet Explorer and on ther other 2 we can't...Can someone please tell me what's goin on or how to fix this?

What operating system are you running.
Most likely the short cut is not present ... for some reason or another.
Can you search for the file IExplore.exe, while on the login that you say
does not have the browser?

I think I have the same problem. On my account I can connect to the internet and access internet explorer fine, but on the other three when they connect to the internet and open up internet explorer, it goes to that error page as if it weren't connected. I have no clue as to how this happened or what to do to fix it.

I have the same problem as well. I've discovered that if I make the account an Administrative account, Internet Explorer will work for that session. I then go and change the account back to a normal account, and everything works fine until the machine is restarted. After a restart, those accounts can no longer use Internet Explorer.

So for the short term, give them admin rights, have them logon and Internet Explorer will work. If you don't care about those accounts having Admin rights, just keep it that way and Internet Explorer will always work. If you want to change them back to a normal account, do so after they startup Internet Explorer. It will continue to work until the next reboot.

Hopefully Microsoft will fix this bug soon.

we have a similar problem. we have 5 accounts & although it is possible to log onto the internet from any of them only 1 account will allow any net activity eg IE, IRC, etc. anybody got any ideas?
