Here's a temporary workaround for the problem that
everyone seems to be having with IE crashing on them.

Right Click on your IE Icon. Click on the Advanced Tab.

Under the browsing section about 10-15 items
down...UNCHECK the one that reads Enable 3rd party
browser extentions (REQUIRES RESTART). Uncheck it and
then click Apply. Reboot your system. Run some virus
protection and adaware programs and you should be good to
go.

I right clicked...where do you go from there? I looked in
properties but couldnt find anything that look like what
you were talking about.

I have had the same problem all evening and this fixed it
(no idea why!)...

James on the desktop icon for IE6 (NB.. not the icon on the
taskbar), right click and the far left hand tab is the
"advanced" options... go down to the "Browsing" section and
it is the 12th one... then make sure box is not ticked...
hope this helps.

I must be doing something wrong. When I right click I see
only the pop up menu...with the open , run as, copy cut,
send to ,and properites box. I click on properties box but
see nothing
about browsing in the advanced tabs...where am I going
wrong here.
Thanks
James

You have to go to the icon ON THE DESKTOP..the one right under "my computer" thats the one
with all the tabs and things in it.
