IE crashing and closing when opening a web page

Does anyone have a fix for when IE closes when trying to
access a web page. This only happens for some
websites...and they are web sites that we have accessed
many times before. Now when we try to open them IE just
closes. Any suggestions?
 
Boot in DOS and use the following commands

deltree downlo~1
deltree intern~
deltree histor
deltree temp

From c:\windows prompt
