IE crashes, Windows Explorer doesn't open

Have spent alot of time trying to get IE to open, and now
even Windows Explorer fails to open. I'm no newbie.
Deleted temp files, restalls don't work (claims a logo
error), have zone alarm and norton antivirus, so how can I
repair the problem. Where can I get a full version of IE
maybe, this is so wild.
HELP!

I am 2 spots below you. I have the same programs as you
norton, zone alarm...this just started happing. I can
update my prog. such as norton, xp update,...I can also get
my e-mail off my outlook express. If you find I fix, please
shoot me a fix. I'll do the same.
