IE Crashes whenever a 2nd window is opened

Hello All
Newbie here

I'm having a problem with IE. Whenever I try to open a second window via
link in the original window, IE crahses.

Any suggestions?

menu, select New, then Window. To close a browser window, click the X in the
top right-hand corner or select Close from the File menu. You can also open

Try these steps:
Open IE, tools, internet options.
Select Advanced tab and click the [restore defaults] button.
Later, select the Programs and click the [reset web settings] button.
Click OK.

From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> uncheck "Reuse windows
for launching shortcuts."

And... you have a program running which is blocking pop-up windows-
something like Yahoo Companion, Google toolbar, a firewall, Earthlink (or
another) pop-up blocker, etc. You'll have to uninstall the program or turn
off the feature that's blocking new windows. With some programs of this
type, using Ctrl+click or Shift+click will allow
a new window.
