IE 6 crashe whenever I try to type in a password, all sits. I have tried
deleting the password and forms info, that too causes a crash. I rolled
back to IE5, and same thing. Ideas? Thanks.

Hi dirtnapper :-)

You don't mention the version of Windows you using. That would be important
anyway, but, especailly in view of your rolling back to IE5 as you state.
Thus, I can only guess as to a solution:

Hope this helps.

I tired the previous suggestion. and that did not help. I am using W2K Pro
sp4. I can use Firefox without a problem entering passwords.

Hi Dirtnapper :-)

You might try repairing your Win 2000 and see if that helps. Here's the
instructions for how to do the repair:

You will need to uninstall any post IE6-SP1 Win2K SPs before you
uninstall/reinstall IE. You will also have to go to the Windows Update and
reinstall all the necessary updates after the reinstall.

Hope this helps.

Tired the Repair, nothing. I guess the only thing left is a full fresh
install of the whole system. It's a very long proceedure for something like
this. I can not do a restore from the backups since this problem is in the
backup as well. This is the problem with such tight integration of produsts;
a standalone would allow deletion and then just re-install.
