IE Crash when creating Bookmark

I have a machine that is running XP sp2 and IE 6.0.2900
My problem is that everytime a user tries to create a bookmark IE crashes.
This is not user specific. I have only bare essential third party programs
running on this machine.
McAfee Enterprise 8.0
AdAware 1.06
MS Office XP
All service packs and updates are in place.
I would appreciate anyones ideas on this trouble.

Hmmmm the machine is clean. I have also tried Jon's posted help of deleting
the Favorites folder and letting it rebuild itself. That did not work either.

However I did find a work around that I was not aware of before. If instead
of using the menu to create bookmarks you use the keyboard shortcut (crtl +
D) and instead of trying to drag a URL to the desktop to create a shortcut
you use the menu of File/send To/Shortcut to Desktop, it does not create a
crash.

It looks like I am going to have to completely re-install XP to solve this
issue, unless someone has another idea.

Thanks for the rep[ly. I tried everything that was posted in that article
and it did not work. See my response to PA Bear.
