IE Cookies

I always clear my cookies,files, and history everyday,
and i have days to keep pages in history set to 0, but
everytime you click on the history icon on the ie
toolbar, it shows everywhere where i have gone, even
after i have deleted it, it still comes up...how can i
get this to erase

you delete the history (tools-options-delete history)
you pick history - items still there.
ok
close all browsers
open new browser
check history
 
I did that, and they still show up

Possibly your History folder is corrupt:
[XP\2K]
Log on as Administrator and delete the desired <username> folder(s).
[example]
"C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\HISTORY"

Note: McAfee AV with ActiveX controls enabled is known to cause History
problems.
