IE Control Panel

I seem to have lost the "General" tab in the Internet
Options/Tools. It's simply not there anymore.

Therefore, I cannot set my home page or set limits on my
history.

Any thoughts?

Start-Run-Regedit

There could be more than one "GeneralTab" value.
Try these keys first and then search for GeneralTab (no space)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel

Remove "GeneralTab" if present.
