My IE will apparently only allow concurrent downloads of 2 files. Is
there any way to set this higher. I couldn't find anything on the
tools menu or in <Help>.

Hi,

There is a reason for this.
This is so the browser is compliant with RFC 2068.
For more information please see.
http://rfc.net/rfc2068.html

Here is link that I found that you may find usefull.
Please understand that the browser is set this way for compliance and this
is not supported.

Interesting - thanks for the information Kenneth.

It's not that it's a frequent problem, but I do find it a nuisance
when downloading multiple small files ... such as when a document has
been split into a number of pdf or html parts. Having to select two,
then wait; select two then wait .... etc, instead of just starting the
whole lot (or a good proportion) then coming back later, is a bit
tiresome.
