Just got XP Home. The colors in all the programs are
fine. When on internet, the background colors are missing
from webpages. Ads run fine, seems like just the webpage
it's self. Is it browser related, adapter card, or XP? Or
what?

Hi Ebby,

You can change the background color of ie and most basic screens by using
Display Properties > Appearance > Advanced.

Sellect Window from the Item pulldown menu and assign a color. Once a color
is installed save it as a theme. Theme tab > Save as.

This will only work with the Windows classic style unless you have the Patch
installed or the Stylexp program installed.

Details follow:

Try this:

Go here and install the Patch. Than download some themes. That will change
the start button and a lot more.

Than go here for even more themes.

If you need help than the StyleXP program will work for you.

Have fun
