IE Closes Suddenly

On certain web pages IE will close after a few seconds? Has anyone had this
problem is there a work around. Thanks...

Not really, but which version of IE do you have installed on what
version of Windows, include any Service packs. And like which web sites?

You could see if it has anything to do with virus/spyware. You could run
an online scan at:
http://safety.live.com/site/en-US/default.htm

If you have Windows 2000/XP then you could also install the Microsoft
Windows AntiSpyware tool:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

Hi there:
I too had the same problem but visiting www.java.com and downloading the
latest software fixed the problem - don't forget to verify the installation
(need to revist the java site sfter download and install).
