Well, you aren't demonstrating any understanding of how to behave on
Usenet if you post this stuff on a busy active newsgroup instead of
using a test group. Here is some information about Usenet. Feel free to
use the links in your class:

I'm teaching an IE class and demonstrating newsgroups.

Using a Web Interface to Usenet to 'demonstrate' newsgroup usage is
completely lame.

Even *Outlook* is better than a web-to-news gateway.

*Outlook* uses Outlook Express as its newsreader.

The poster, 'student', DID use a newsreader.
And what Wesley said.

The original poster did use a news reader:
Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2869

*Outlook* uses Outlook Express as its newsreader.

I meant OE.

I didn't look at the headers though. I guess it was posted with a
newsreader, OE.

Maybe the OP meant teaching an 'Internet' class, not an IE class.

I never looked either, until just now. ;-) I just assumed like you did.

X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2869
