IE Child Window Wish List

Once, several years ago, I succeeded in training IE to Open a New
Window in the size (though not the place) I wanted. Now I am not able
to do that. I have tried all varieties of Ctrl- and/or Shift-clicking
on the X after setting the window size. These do not seem to be
working. So here's my wish list:

1. The right-click context option, Open a New Window (ONW), opens a
window of the size I set, which will be as small as possible. That's
because I typically use ONW while browsing through some news site. I
want to open all of the articles that interest me before getting
distracted away from the news site's main page.

2. ONW opens this new, small window in the background, for reasons
just mentioned.

3. ONW opens this new, small, background window in a place of my
choosing (e.g., bottom right corner of screen). This way, after
finishing my look through the news site, I will be looking at the
program or webpage that I had last opened, before getting started on
that news site. Chances are, it will be another news page, where I
will repeat the foregoing steps. That way, I can get all of my main
news sites out of the way first. Then I can see how much time I have
left to read all the articles that interested me, and will know whether
I have time to read carefully or must merely skim.

4. For all of the above, there are simple registry edits that I can
set up once, export, and then run on any machine where I have admin
rights.

5. Once I have opened all my new, small, background windows, there is
a simple keystroke combination that will maximize them all at once.

That's not too much to ask, is it? Here's hoping ...

I have since discovered that Firefox provides a working solution to a
number of these concerns.
