HI,
When I click a hyperlink in IE pages, it can popup a IE window, but the
web page is blank and it seems cannot continue until I stop it by pressing
ESC and pressing F5 followed.
My system is WIN98 + IE6. I have rolled IE back to 5.5 from 6.0 recently,
thereafter the problem rose. Although I have updated IE to 6.0 again, the
problem still exist.

Thank you, I'll try it now.

The problem has been solved. The file OLEAUT32.DLL, OLEPRO32.DLL and
STDOLE2.TLB have been updated to version 3.5, though the original version of
them in WIN98 is 2.40.4275. The key
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00020400-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} and its
subkeys is missed. Using SFC utility restore the original OLEAUT32.DLL, and
restore the key
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{00020400-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} and the
subkeys, so system can work well now.
