Hi.

I am using IE6 SP1 (I couldn't find a IE6 newsgroup). I am trying to
integrate a third party ASP files into ours. The problem is this.

According to the vendor, if I used a trial version, and then use the full
version after purchase, it doesn't work. They indicate that this is due to
IE's caching problem. Here is the link to the page.

http://www.devedit.com/support/index.php?ToDo=view&questId=85&catId=4

My problem is that it still does not work even after I clear the cache as
instructed. I even went deleted all temporary internet files using the
Windows Explorer.

Does anyone know other ways to clear the cache? Does anyone know how to
solve this problem?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

IE does indeed have caching problems, but the description on the page link
you provided describes normal behavior.

IE seems to not clear in-use page items from cache sometimes. I think step-1
should have said:
"Open Internet Explorer to a different (non-DevEdit) page"

Close IE.
Open the Internet Options in Control Panel.
Click Clear Files.
Besure to check the box to delete all offline content.
