IE cache misdirected

I've got an interesting problem I hope someone can help me with. I've got a
user with IE 6 and every time she tries to pull up a web page from the drop
down cache, she gets an error message that the directory or address is
invalid, but if she types in the address it goes straight to the site no
problem. I've run virus scans, ad-aware scans and hijack this and I've ruled
out it as a malware problem. From what I can tell it looks like the cache
files are misdirected to the server somehow. I've tried to redirect the
cache files with no change and this problem isn't profile specific, I can log
in as myself on the machine and have the same problem. I'm really stumped on
this and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
