IE browser cannot close and hear a beep when hit the upper right X button

Hi,

As the post said, my IE browser 6 cannot close and hear a
beep when hit the upper right X button. I have to kill the
session in order to close. They happened quite often too.

anyone could help?

I have this same problem - Also noticed the CPU goes to 100% whenever I
launch IE.

I posted a separate message because I did not see this one.

Any help would be appreciated!
 
Just an update. I resolved this by persuing the spyware suggestions on
other problems posted here. Ended up using ad-aware, and it fixed it!
