Back button fails to respond after browsing an item in a
search list.
Any help will be appreciated.

click on the little triangle next to the back button for
desired site. some sites set it to keep you at their
site when you press the back button(or backspace key).
it is pesky thing some sites do....don't ask why.

also watch out for homepage popup when back is pressed.
do not press NO button. if corner x is disabled use task
manager to end task the browser. pressing NO button will
change your homepage and cause other problems.

excuse me....

the box is called "save in:" box

there are also buttons on the left side of the save
window where you can navigate to other locations.

once you save a picture to a folder the next time you
save a picture it might direct to the same folder.

I don't think it is done intentionally in most cases. Disabling of the Back
button is a side-effect of using the META refresh tag with the timing set to
0-seconds. Someone might do that for example if they changed the location of
a file and wanted to avoid people getting a "404 - Page not found" error. The
META refresh will redirect the browser to the new location. It is because of
this undesireable side-effect that Web developers are advised to use at least
a half second delay in the META tag (to allow someone time to click Back a
2nd time), or better yet, do a *real* 301 redirect using HTTP headers.

Yes, IF the page was designed with malicious intent.
