Whatever I was doing, my IE just pops up and links to various advertisements!
I have scanned for virus and found no one. Then I installed software to scan
for and fixed adwares and spywares. I have scanned these three things several
times, and just unable to solve the problem!!
What can I do?
Who can help me please??

What anti-adware/-spyware software did you install? More and more of the
ones advertised online (and on TV) are in fact "rogue" anti-spyware
products. What does MVP Eric Howes' page on "betrayware" have to say about
the product you're using?...
http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm It may in fact have
*installed* more adware/spyware!

Unfortunately, my anti-adware/spyware is the two seems mostly recommended by
that web page: Ad-Aware Personal and Spybot Search&Destroy.

But the web site you provide is very useful and eye-opening, I will read
them carefully. Thank you!

Hi,
I have also had these type of problems since getting broadband.
I downloaded XP service pack 2 and the Beta adware blocker. Loads of adverts
come on screen constantly. I run spy ware checks after every use and somimes
before, and delete files yet often the whole thing just closes down in the
middle of using internet explorer. Also the comp doesn't switch off properly
and sometimes freezes.
I had an anti virus software on it. It says there are no viruses. Does this
Norton programme cause problems when used with the microsoft firewall?? I am
so confused and hardly dare use internet any more.
I'll read all the above links if it doesn't crash on me.
