Hi there,
For awhile now, my Internet Explorer has been starting up
automatically whenever I boot up my machine. Can I change
it so that it won't start up at boot time.
I don't like this feature because it slows the boot
process -- and previously the machine would boot without
starting IE. Maybe it has something to do with upgrading
to IE 6.0, or maybe something to do with a patch I've
installed. Any ideas?
The Registry has a key called "Configuration Loader =
iexplore.exe" under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Version\Run . . . but I'm hesitant to mess around with
it.
I'm running Windows Server 2000.
Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
