Since my install of SP2 I cannot click a google ad unless I right click and
open in a new Window. Not that I want to but thats just one of the issues.

Many sites (legit) requiring active x to download like Zango I cannot. For
example I get the Information bar but no option to install the Active x, just
a more information link which leads to the help file.

I try to turn it off following the instructions, yet that doesnt work. I
uninstalled SP 2 and it worked fine. After re-installing SP2 I have the same
problem. I cant be the only one.

Any ideas?

Hi,
This sounds like a javascript problem. Try this:

Go to Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone, set it to Default.

You might put zango in Trusted Sites. From Internet Options>
Security> Trusted Sites> Sites> uncheck "Require server verification
(https:) for all sites" then add " *.zango.com " (without the quotes) to
this zone.

Clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content when that dialog pops up) It's often
recommended that the TIF folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)

Try these two commands from Start> Run
regsvr32 vbscript.dll [enter]
regsvr32 jscript.dll [enter]

Then, you might try a refresh of the scripting engine. Go to
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp
for the appropriate download.

Check your JVM at http://javatester.org/ Install Java from Sun if indicated.

Hi Troyboy :-)

There were many security enhancements with SP2, and many things may not
function as they did before until you make some adjustments. See the
information below.

First:

Next, do a full anti-virus scan, then follow the instructions here:

then follow the information below:

or

Then here:

Secure sites: Make sure your firewall is not blocking port 443.
Go to Start | Run and enter these commands (press <Enter after each one).
Regsvr32 SOFTPUB.DLL
Regsvr32 Wintrust.dll
Regsvr32 Initpki.dll
Regsvr32 Dssenh.dll
