Hello,

Is there a way to change IE CTRL-N shortcut to open new BLANK PAGE instead
of duplicating the current page?

I tried to search google, but I couldn't find anything useful.

Thanks,
Petri Simolin

Hi Petri,

Short and sweet no.... You could make a toolbar button or menu extension to
do this for you.

Try doing this:
1. Open IE and go to about:blank to view a blank page.
2. Bookmark the blank page renaming it as "Blank Page".
3. Open Favourites menu, right click to "Blank Page" shortcut and select
Properties.
4. Select "Web document" tab and the "Shortcut key" field.
5. Press your preferred combination (e.g. CTRL+SHIFT+N).
6. Click Yes to popup window and click OK.

Now if you press CTRL+SHIFT+N, a new blank page will be open.
