IE address bar settings

Hi

When I type a address in the address bar it keeps it there when I type part
of it show the whole address because it was previously used. What I am trying
to say is how do I make the address bar not record what I type. I know that
it can be done but I have at this moment forgotten how to do it.

Have you tried IE-Tools-Internet Options-Content-AutoComplete?
