IE address bar freezing

i don't doubt that there is some other message like this
on this newsgroup, but i'm in desperate need of help...my
daily schedule requires me to search the web a lot and not
being able to use my address bar is a big hassle.....i'm
not exactly sure waht is wrong but i type an address into
the address bar...either press enter or click go...and it
freezes...i don't wait for it to unfreeze because i was
sort've impatient and i have had past experiences with
freezings that go on forever...so i hit CtrlAltDelete and
EndTask the program.....it happens on and off and i've
tried getting rid of the program with IEradicator and
reinstalling it...help is all i can say ai guess

This could be a problem with your History folder. See:

You might also let Ad-aware search for parasites or other malware:
Ad-aware 6- Lavasoft: http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
