For some days now i notice the following problem.

Even though i clear history and temporary internet files (from tools-->
Internet options) when i try to write a web page on address bar of IE (e.g.
www.f....... ),
it shows adresses of previous pages (e.g. www.forecast.com) that i must have
seen a few days ago.

Any idea of fixing that?

thanx

I try it but nothing happened. it also gave the following message:

" ....
IE: Temporary Internet Files...
Cannot access file or folder: C:\Documents and Settings\Slow Worm\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\DRU9MBY5\Fw_ Fw_ ?aoYioa ... i
Oa?oeaniio?ouiao.eml
IE: Internet URL History...
IE: Auto Complete History...
IE: Cookies...
IE: Typed URLs...
IE: Folder for Downloads...
Finished.

.... "

Thnx for the try.

Any other ideas?

Apparently it never all really goes away, regardless of the
search-and-destroy methods used. Check out this website (the discussion
is dated 2001, but probably still essentially valid in XP):
