A BETA is coming this (northern hemisphere) summer: the official
release date is not known.

MS AntiSpyware: for Win2K, WinXP and WinServer 2003.

I compared the new anti spyware (Beta 1) that I downloaded from the IE
website and ran a scan. No spyware. Then I ran a scan with Adaware and had 24
tracking spyware detected and eliminated. I don't think the Microsoft anti
spyware works.

My reading was that although MS is working on antivirus and antispyware
products, there was no mention that they would be included with Internet
Explorer 7.

Which is fine with me. I'd like to see just the browser by itself.
