I have Media Center Edition and downloaded IE7 Beta. I can't find the favorites
folder or figure out how to save a favorite web page like this one. Any help
appreciated.

I see in http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx that
the recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

Well I must use a web interface because my isp doesn't do newsgroups. Thanks for the info on the correct site even tho I can't bookmark it and may never find it again.

Sorry, but I don't understand.

What on earth has your ISP got to do with it?
Can't you use a newsgroup independent of your ISP?
I connect to these newsgroups with the server: msnews.microsoft.com
That is not dependent on my ISP.
Why can't you?

I have no idea why you can't bookmark the site, but if that is an IE7
problem, then ask there. I fail to see why you cannot save a shortcut
to a site you have been supplied. Copy and paste it somewhere you can
find it or just recall it in IE after you get there from History,
AutoComplete or TypedUrls.
