Hi.
Is there a way to fix IE7 in Vista.

Thanks

I would imagine that the answer would depend upon the specific sort of
problem you're experiencing. "IE7 died" is exceedingly vague, and
actually quite meaningless when it comes to describing a problem with an
object that never "lived" in the first place.

Don't you think it might help if you were to actually tell us what kind
of problem(s) you're having? Or should we just guess and toss random
answers your way?

I feel obligated to mention that no one can help if you don't
provide at least a modicum of pertinent information.

Hi.

When I start IE nothing happens, blank page, and it freezes.
I have to force it to close or it will use 100% CPU.

Have you configured it so that it "knows" how to connect to your ISP?
Tools > Internet Options > Connections Tab. Have you set the Home Page
to a web site that you know exists? Tools > Internet Options > General
Tab. Follow your ISP's specific connection (and other configuration)
instructions.

It was working fine until it crashed. I had no problem until this morning.
System restore did not fix it.

Define "crashed." *Exactly* what happened immediately prior to the
onset of the problem?

If I may be frank here, if you are unable to provide more technically
detailed descriptions of a problem than "died" or "crashed," might I
suggest that you're not yet ready to be beta testing a new operating system.

I had the same problem, it's actually an easy fix once you figure it out.
THe problem is due to all of the add-ons installed on your Explorer used with
the previous version of Windows.

To fix: Goto "Control Panel"--->"Internet Options"--->Click on the "Advanced
Tab"---> ON the bottom of the window, there is a button called "Reset
Internet Explorer Settings..." ----> CLick it and you should be good to go...
if that does not work, manually disable all add-ons...

If you need access imediately,start ->all programs->accessories->system
tools->Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

this opens a new internet explorer with all addons and features disabled...

Hope it helps.
