Did you see the work "should"?
Ahmmm...nope...but... there wuz a word "should". <g>
In most every instance that I have seen where the user has installed
and then uninstalled the IE7 B2P there have been various problems
with IE6 trying to get it to work again. While it "should" take them
back to a working IE6, it usually doesn't.

Uninstalling IE7 B2P should automatically bring you back to IE6
SP1.
IOW, you don't need to (re)install IE6.
But.......not exactly....it does not always do so without
problems. Personal exerience. BTDT.
Hope this helps.

I installed IE 7 Beta thinking it may work better, yet it
don't, not for me anyway. Now I can't install IE 6 because
"There is a newer version already installed". So I
uninstalled it from Add/Remove Programs, in this case its
under Updates, reboot, and still the same error. Using XP Pro
