IE 7.0 Beta: Toolbar & Firewall Questions

I downloaded and installed Microsoft IE 7.0 Beta version,
but there is no upper regular toolbar.
(The one that shows File, Edit, View, Go, Tools, etc.)

Is there supposed to be one?

(Without it, copying and pasting text, etc., is a bit more
"challenging..."

Also, I originally set up the program with the firewall
turned on. If I want to turn it off, how is that done?
I went to the Help section, but did not see any information
on how to turn off the firewall.

(I am on dial-up and experiencing extremely slow connections;
so possibly the firewall is causing some or part of this problem.)

Thanks.

Right-click on an empty area of the toolbar > Unlock the toolbar >
Right-click on an empty area of the toolbar again > Menu bar (check) > Lock
the toolbar.

Thanks, PA Bear.

That worked !

Any idea how to turn off the firewall ?

I also will post my comments/questions on that link
you included.

To keep track of things, it helps immensely if you include all of previous
message(s) in your replies to the newsgroup. Thank you.

Turn off what firewall? IE7 Beta3 doesn't include a firewall but WinXP
does: It should /not/ be turned off if you don't have a third-party firewall
installed.

Neither the Windows Firewall nor any third-party firewall (if properly
configured) should be affecting your connection speed when browsing with IE7
Beta3.
