Can anyone help?

I have been long suffering with IE closing everytime I close a window while
surfing the net. Eg - When checking email messages I need to open each
message in a new window and then minimise it so I can check other emails
without IE closing. The exact message is "Internet Explorer has encountered a
problem and nneds to close". I am tired of having to log on numerous times
just to check emails and surf.

Any ideas/suggestions?
