IE 6 won't start

I get an C++ error every time I try to start the IE: "This application has
requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. See your applicatioin
support for assistance"
What is this saying?
I have installed all the newest updates for Windows 2000.

Uninstall the Google toolbar.
