IE 6 Won't Start (ntdll.dll)

I get the same error as "Suzie" :
appname. iexplore.exe appver. 6.0.2800.1106 modname.
ntdll.dll modver. 5.0.2195.6685 offset. 0004c9dc

I do a clean boot with all boxes cleared, including
system services, then it gets a little further (The app
will start if the address is blank) and I get a different
error in module winshow.dll.

Any clues? I'm kinda reluctant to run the executable at
the link referenced in Suzie's mail (http://00hq.com/)

Thanks, Ramesh.

I donwloaded and installed the PestPatrol software, cleaned the computer,
and still get the errors. (I had 153 pests). I guess I have to re-install
IE6.

Thanks for your time!

John,
Run CWShredder from http://www.merijn.org/downloads.html

Reinstalling IE won't fix this if there are still malware files present.

SUCCESS!!!!

After numerous weeks of on-again-off-again troubleshooting, Internet
Explorer 6 WORKS!

What did I do?

1. I installed PestPatrol and cleaned my computer
2. I used the uninstall program at http://00hq.com/
3. I removed and reinstalled IE6 using control panel=> remove/install
windows components.

Dang.

Thanks for the help, Ramesh.
