IE 6 won't pull a web page

After cleaning up some programs from the pc, IE 6 will no
longer pull a web page. This is not an issue of the pc
connecting to the internet because I can ping web sights
and access the net through other applications.

I have tried running the IE setup to reinstall, but that
isn't correcting the problem....

Any ideas?
