IE 6 won't open

I have Win98 SE and when i click on the shortcut icon or
go through the
program menu IE6 won't open, the connection is fine
because MSN messenger still works but can't look at my
emails though.
I've also gone to internet options and unchecked 'enable
third party ext' and it worked for a day and now its gone
again,
any help would be appriciated, its been like this for a
few weeks

Jack,
Disabling browser extensions is an emergency measure. You should find and
remove the malware that's causing this, then re-enable third party browser
extensions.
