Hello. Sorry about the non-technical jargon.
I don't
know what I am doing most of the time. I just know this
stuff stopped working. I am having problems with my IE
address bar. Any time I put something in the IE address
bar it comes up as "page cannot be displayed". I have not
been able to find a solution. I have run my spyware
removal stuff and my antivirus program. It all says
everything is fine. My homepage comes up and I can search
from the Yahoo search bar or by clicking the search
button and then using the little side window. I also have
a mysterious new icon on my desktop that looks like a
blank page on IE (there is no name underneath the icon)
and when I double click it says
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\.EXE is not a
valid Win32 application.
Does anyone know what that means or why it is suddenly on
my desktop? Thanks for any help.
