I find when I open and close a lot of browser windows
that eventually IE uses excessive memory. When I try to
close a window I get an message to the effect that the
window cannot be closed. I must kill IE from Windows
Task Manager and reboot. I am up to date on all IE SPs
and patch levels.

Can anyone offer any help?

Thanks!

Hi Paul,

It may be due to malware BHOs.
