IE 6 will not allow browser window to close

If I have an additional window open in IE6 it will not
close - it beeps and nothing happens. I have reinstalled
and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?

The same thing happems to me how do I fix it? Dell suggests
reformating but if the previous user tried and it failed
then it will only cause me to lose valuable information.

I forgot to mention my IE does not allow me to close it
whenever I look at a site and tab and enter keys do not
work. How about Microshit get off their ass and fdix
this error I ran both Adaware and Spybot and both said my
pc was clean, but the f'in thing still does not work.
Odd thing is my other PC does not have this problem so I
estimate it's a virus but Nortan Anti-virus will not
delete all the files it finds.

Forgive my language, a few days after I posted I wentr
into IEs advance settings and turnwed on Java and that
fixed it.
