IE 6 Visual C ++ run time error

a couple days ago we downloaded and installed the
Microsoft update service pack 2 for Win XP, since then
when right clicking on desktop icons or program files, we
get an error messege "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime
Library Runtime Error C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.exe abnormaol
program termination" after clicking ok, explorer
restarts. Is there anyway we can fix this problem?
 
I have run scans with both nortons antivirus and my
adware/spyware program and neither has detected Kazaa on
my system. I know I dont have it as I have searched the
registry and program files and folders for it and nothing
comes up.
is there any way for me to find out what is causing this
error and how do I fix it?
