IE 6 Very Slow To Open

When I try to open IE 6, it seems to take 15 to 20 seconds to open. Clicking
on an email link takes about the same time.

Other browsers including Avant, Orca, Firefox, etc. open quickly, though
Firefox takes longer than the others.

Win XP Pro, AMD Athlon 2400+, 1 GB memory

If you are running Webroot's SpySweeper it is the reason IE is taking 20
seconds to open because of the new Java update has a BHO now. There is a new
build of SpySweeper 4.5.9 (Build 709) that fixes this. Uninstall the old
version then install the new version and get the updates and the run a full
scan and your IE problem should be fixed.

All this info applied to me situation with Webroot, etc. I
followed your instructions and build 6 causes no delay.
