Hi mattffrost
WE have users that need to use the use automatic configuration scrip
for some sufing and not use the script for most sufing. Any way I
can have IE 6 have both options so a user would not have to go in
everytime and change the setting. Thank you.
You cannot disable Automatic Configuration Script in IE. I'm not one of the
experts, and not sure if these will help, but, you might try the following:
Click File, click Options, click the Advanced tab, and click the Proxy
Settings button.
Click the Override IE Proxy Settings box. Enter http:// followed by the
proxy address for your proxy server and enter the port number (leave user
name and password blank). Click OK twice
*If you do not know the IP address and port number for your proxy server,
contact your IT department
or........
(not sure this will apply)
Disable Automatic Proxy configuration

If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.
Hope this helps
