Help. Somehow my 13 yr. old daughter and her friends
accidentally downloaded some things on to my IE. Whenever
you right click on the toolbar area there are two new
things you can add to your toolbar area. One being a
search function and the other being adult websites.
Yikes. I can't seem to get rid of them. I'm really
frustrated, been removing programs from my computer from
that day and still it is there. Hope someone can help.
Thank you!!!

Get ToolbarCop:

----Karen, have you tried this: On a blank area on your
toolbar, right click. Then choose "customize", then look
at what comes up, and on the right side, are the icons
that are now on your toolbar. You can choose to remove
them here. Hope this helps. Lisa- Also, have you tried
clicking on the "find" on the start button enue,
then "advanced" and choosing the date range that this
happened, and trying to locate the actual name of the file
that was loaded on your computer? I found some spyware
yesterday that was annoying me, and then tried to find it
by using windows explorer, and NO PLACE did it show up,
except when I used the "find" searching thing! Then you
can just right click and delete it! Lisa

I am having the same problem. This toolbar issue also opens up pop ups,
changes my hompage and adds stuff to my favorite list. I'll try that
toolbarcop.

Well it took five hours to find the help I needed. With toolbarcop.exe it
took me 2 mins to fix my toolbar.

Thanks Scott.

ToolbarCop removes the Toolbars, Toolbar buttons and unwanted
menu-extensions from Internet Explorer. It does not remove the spyware from
the system entirely. It is advisable to run Ad-Aware scan
(www.lavasoftusa.com), even if the toolbar entries are removed.
