More info required... OS version.
First try disabling Add-Ins. Start>Settings>Control Panel>Internet Options -
Advanced tab .. Uncheck 'enable third-party browser helper objects'
Try to start IE.
If you are able to start IE after this remove/uninstall any add-ins
(toolbars) that you don't need or don't trust. If using XP you can use the
Add-In manager to disable toolbars until you find the one that may be
causing the problem.

Tried all of that, no help. Then remembered a program that sets up a proxy
that has to be used. Disabled that proxy and all work fine now. I will have
to reload that software. This happened after I did a complete System Restore.
Thanks for the help anyway, I learned alot. Now if I can remember this stuff.
