IE 6 SP2 Print Problem

I'm using IE6 SP2 and acept automatic updates from Microsoft for all MS
products on my machine. In the past month I installed a new HP all-in-one
printer...

In the past week I've found that I'm no longer able to print from IE. I
click on print, print preview, etc. and get nothing...no error, no print
options, and no print. Interestingly, I'm still able to print from MS office
products and all other products on my machine.

Anyone have a clue what's going on?

My gf, a Secquel (sp?) DBA, suggests rebuilding my machine because of this
and the fact my machine is progressively slowing down (a worm? a virus? I've
found no software including ad-aware, ccleaner, norton, and aol spyware
protection that can find even a glimpse of an issue!)...

AHHHHH! Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi gwolsen :-)

There are a number of things that can cause this problem. Try the
information below and see if it helps:

Cannot Print Web Pages
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q298847/

also..

Go to View>Encoding and turn off Autoselect. See if that helps. Selecting
that option can cause various problems.

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>under the Printing section, check the
box next to Print Background colors and images

Lots more troubleshooting to look at here:

and...

Hope this helps :-)
