system details:
ie sp1, windows xp home edition version 2002
When I type a web page on the address bar like www.yahoo.com, and click
enter or click the GO botton explorer goes to http://ws1.appswebservice.com
and a page opens saying "Sorry, we could not find ws1.appswebservice". But
when I choose a page from Favorities, or even when I click the down arrow on
the right site of the address bar and choose an address from there it
displays it directly. But when I type the page on the address bar and hot
enter it does not go through. I have upgraded windows, i have upgraded
iexplorer but I don't know how to fix this stupid problem.

Hi,
You appear to have picked up a hijacker. Download, update and run Ad-aware,
Spybot and MS Anti-Spyware (Beta.) These programs are often more effective
if run from Safe Mode.
