IE 6 SP1 Cannot Download From HTTP

L cannot download (e.g.: new drivers from www.ati.com,
www.giga-byte.com, etc.) from HTTP sites, however, I can
do so, when I'm at a FTP site...!? Please help! I have
Win 2000 SP1 (w/ pre-sp4 updates), along w/ the above-
named browser version. Any help is very much
encouraged! :p
 
I am having the exact same problem. Only difference is I
am using Win ME. I would like to get an answer from MS but
they don't seem to have a way to contact them to ask a
question.
