I recently upgraded my W2K SP4 to include IE 6 SP1. As IE6 SP1 (from a
Microsoft CD-R)installed, Outlook Express also was installed automatically.

I don't use Outlook Express and want to be rid of it. How do I do that?
Control Panel appears to not have a provision to do this.

Thanks, in advance, for any assistance.

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel

Double Click on Add/Remove Programs

Click on Add/Remove Windows Components in the left pane

Scroll down to Outlook Express, and uncheck

Click Next then follow the prompts
